Venturi is a gentle and mild mannered ram and he may be a carrier of white spotting and the polling genetics. He covered four ewes in his breeding pod the fall of 2007 - his first breeding season.

Finlay is a real sweetie. Though he is a typical brown mouflon pattern he carries the genetics for light phase tan and white spotting. He covered seven ewes in his breeding the fall of 2007 - and produced nine lambs - two sets of twins - and only one ram lamb in the bunch!

Galahad is a great ram. He is curious and independent but does not get aggressive with the others. His sire Eugene is what got me started with Soay sheep - Eugene was so gorgeous I fell in love (Eugene looked like Galahad but had the full beard like Blake below whom he also sired - Eugene is now deceased.)

Jack has thick, curly, red tinted wool. He covered three ewes in his breeding pod the fall of 2007 - his first breeding season - producing two sets of twins, 2 ram lambs and 3 ewes.

Gresham is a mild name for this impressive ram that looks like a wooly mammoth and has a protruding brow ridge that always makes it look like he's frowning. We've been told that he looks more like the Soay on St. Kilda than most of the Soay in the U.S.

Though gentle and mild, it seems like the ground should shake when he walks around. On loan to us from Southern Oregon Soay we are looking forward to breeding him in 2010.

Roo is a gorgeous light phase tan ram that has the striking looks of his sire Warwick. He is a gentle, friendly ram that has endeared himself to us. He will have his own breeding group this fall and we are looking forward to beautiful lambs next spring.

Pistachio is a real kick in the pants. He has such a comical look on his face and is such a chunky little beast he's fun to be around. This gorgeous ram will be covering the ewes that give us the best chance of white spotted lambs.

Viking is a massive "Brahma" of a ram - but for his great size and intimidating presence he is totally laid back and is very gentle with his ewes. He is also solid black. He covered two ewes for us last fall - a polled black ewe and a mahogany. Both of Viking's ewes twinned, a set of ewes and a set of rams.

Avenger is a gorgeous yearling ram from the famed blond Red Deer - sire of the self color chocolates developed by Kate Montgomery at Blue Mountain Soay. Red Deer is now dead so we are hoping for great things from Avenger. He has very interesting coloring as his body is blond with a tint of red, and his face is very chocolaty. Still a bit skittish he covered four ewes for us last fall.

Blake is the alpha ram of our ram flock. He is not aggressive at all - it only takes one nudge from those horns to keep the other guys in line. He has a full beard and mane and a gorgeous multi-colored winter coat.
