Bartering
For Meat Rams
Every year we have ram lambs born that are not
sold as part of starter flocks and that have genetics already present in our own
flocks. We do not register these lambs with SOA as the intention is to sell them
as meat or neutered estate sheep.
We
are also open to barter on these lambs. If you would like a meat ram - or five
- and would like to keep your costs to a minimum this is a good way to do it.
Please refer to the list below for items that we can always use and that we'd
be willing to trade a ram lamb for.

Foot T-Posts - Used OK but not bent.

Metal roofing sheets or partial sheets.

5 - 6 Foot Field Fencing

Building Materials - Used OK but in good condition - plywood, 2 x 4's, dry wall,
OSB, gravel, clean fill dirt.

Hay - Good quality local grass hay or orchard grass hay.
- Wool
- Soay or Alpaca wool - clean but not washed or carded.
- Gardening
& Orchard starts: flowers & fruit trees or bushes.
